Interpretation Centre and Observatory of the Iberian Lynx
Lodged in S. João dos Caldeireiros churchyard, the Iberian Lynx Interpretation Centre and Observatory offers a panoramic view over the fields where, in 2014, the first lynx couple was released within an acclimatization enclosure, from which the current population was established.
The center also has a variety of trilingual information about the species, the good observation practices and the reintroduction program, as well as the biodiversity of the Guadiana Valley.
Being an open facility, visits are possible at any day and time.
